Lawrie Hooper not alone in vote against current fixed penalties
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper has failed to have the current initial penalties, for flouting Covid 19 emergency powers, ramped up.
He and three other members voted against the continuance of £150 fixed penalty notices, as an initial response.
Mr Hooper told the Court that much tougher penalties were required:
