Standing down after 30 years
One of the Island’s longest serving MHKs says he was ready to quit after one term – but was then re-elected!
Onchan member Peter Karran has announced he'll stand down this Autumn after 31 years in Manx politics.

Mr Karran admits he was surprised by events in 1991 when he topped the poll for a second time.
