Joney Faragher to ensure new approach is implemented
Ensuring the autism strategy is implemented is 'absolutely a priority' for the Department of Health and Social Care.
That's from Health Minister Lawrie Hooper who's confirmed a political member has been appointed to oversee the project.
Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher has been given responsibility for ensuring the strategy, which is due to be published by the end of this year, is brought in.
With a public consultation on the subject having closed last week, Mr Hooper has provided an update:
