Garff member keen to see greener public transport on Island's roads
An MHK is urging the government to start planning for electric buses now.
Garff member Daphne Caine has tabled a series of questions on the subject of environmentally-friendly public transport at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
She'll ask the Treasury Minister whether he backs the idea of electric buses for the Island, and wants to know what plans there are to trial the latest models.
Mrs Caine believes this is something work should start on sooner rather than later:
