Claire's Law already allows UK residents to ask police if partner poses a danger
Should Manx residents be able to ask the police if their partner poses a danger to them?
That's the question one MHK will ask at this week's sitting of the House of Key.
Douglas Central member Ann Corlett wants to know whether a domestic abuse disclosure scheme similar to the UK's Claire's Law is being considered on the Island.
She explains how the legislation works, and why she wants the Department of Home Affairs to look into it:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
Plans submitted for 85 new homes on former Buchan School site
