Calls for end of 'hand to mouth' austerity
The Quayle Administration is slipping into a trap of its own making by applying 'insensitive' charges, according to a Douglas MHK.
Chris Robertshaw has claimed the structure of government makes it 'incapable of dealing with issues' such as funding in the long term.
He's calling for more radical ways of tackling the problem, rather than a system of living 'hand to mouth'.
In the 11 months following the 2016 election, Manx people have seen hikes in road tax, water rates, and gas prices, as well as last week's proposed increase in prescription and health checkup fees.
