TT star tries his hand at bar management
TT legend Michael Dunlop is turning his attention from handlebars to a drinks bar, after taking over a multipurpose venue in Northern Ireland.
Together with business partner Maggie McWilliams, Dunlop has gained ownership of 'Shenanigans', a three-floor outlet in Portstewart, County Londonderry.
The duo plan to transform it into a beach bar and restaurant, soon after the festive season.
Eventually, it's thought the venue will house as many as five bars, two restaurants, a night club and multi-tier beer garden.
Ms McWilliams has extensive experience in the hospitality sector, having owned and run bars, restaurants and clubs in Ireland and Australia.
But the pair aren't finished there - the hope is to open more new outlets across Ireland in the future, both in Northern Ireland and in the Republic.
