Total repair estimated at £84 million
Concerns have been raised in the House of Keys over an apparent maintenance backlog on Manx roads.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford asked the Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer, what was being done to fix some of the most badly affected routes nationwide.
Around 24 of the Island's 700 miles of road are deemed to be in severe need of repair, with the total repair bill estimated to be around £84 million.
This is lower than estimates made in previous years, though.
