Old iron to be swapped for new steel
A significant step has been taken in the work to restore Queen's Pier in Ramsey.
That's according to project manager Stuart McKenzie.
The public and volunteers will soon get to see the fruits of their labour this week, when the old iron of the pier will be taken out and replaced with new steel.
The community project is being undertaken by the Queen's Pier Restoration Trust with the aim of returning it to its 'former glory'.
