
The minimum wage will go up on the Island at the start of next month.
From October 1, it’ll be illegal to pay someone under 16 less than £4.67 an hour.
Seventeen-year-olds have to be paid at least £5.24 an hour, while those over 18 get a minimum hourly rate of £6.40.
Tynwald voted to increase the rates at its sitting in June.
