
Community, Culture and Leisure Minister Graham Cregeen has apologised for the lack of an official welcome home for the triumphant Island Games team.
The Natwest Island Games in Bermuda took place last month and saw the Isle of Man send a much smaller team than usual.
Despite that, competitors came back with a huge haul of 97 gold, silver and bronze medals – and found nobody from government to congratulate them at Ronaldsway.
