More tourists but fewer hotel guests in 2018
The Enterprise Minister insists confidence is strong in the tourism sector following the publication of the annual Isle of Man Passenger Survey figures.
A 0.8% rise in visitors was recorded in 2018, but fewer tourists stayed in paid accommodation.
The average visitor spend increased by more than 12%, but there was a 6% fall in people using sea travel.
