Report was internal and commissioned by department
The Health Minister says there has never been a recommendation or motion calling for a report on endoscopy to be published.
David Ashford told the House of Keys that it was an internal report commissioned by the Department.
He was replying to a question from Onchan MHK Julie Edge who was asking about the 2017 report into what the Isle of Man Health and Care Association, called "a catastrophic administrative failure in patient care, by the Department of Health."
Mr Ashford clarified several issues and pointed out the report was into endoscopy - not colonoscopy.
In May last year, 157 patients formed a backlog of cases stemming back to 2011, which the Department of Health says has now been cleared in the last year.
Many cases are still subject to legal proceedings.
