Previous administrations have played a major part in the disparity between public and private sector housing.
So says the Island’s Social Care Minister.
Chris Robertshaw MHK was speaking after it was confirmed public sector rents are to rise by five per cent from next April, twice the rate of inflation.
Minister Robertshaw acknowledges the significant difference in rents which currently exists between sectors.
