130-space reduction a worst case scenario
The Infrastructure Minister insists the loss of 130 parking spaces on Douglas Promenade is a worst case scenario.
It was revealed earlier this week that parking will be reduced on the road once the reconstruction of the highway is completed next year.
Additional parking has been opened on the promenade walkway this week to increase capacity during the works.
Ray Harmer hopes the end result of the scheme will make up for the reduced parking capacity:
