Alex Allinson says no commercial arrangements have been made in relation to Cair Vie
The treasury minister says rumours that equipment for a windfarm in the south of the Island has already been purchased are not true.
Alex Allinson told the House of Keys no commercial arrangements have been put in place in relation to Cair Vie.
He confirmed his department and the Council of Ministers have approved £3.768m worth of spending in relation to the project for design and feasibility work.
With a planning application yet to be submitted, Dr Allinson says the project is still in its development phase:
