Emergency question filed ahead of Keys sitting
The Health Minister is to be asked for an explanation over the scrapping of funding for Meals on Wheels for 300 older residents.
Onchan MHK Rob Callister has tabled an emergency question for the House of Keys sitting this Tuesday, after it was announced that the DHSC will no longer pay Age Concern to supply the home deliveries.
There has been no indication whether government will continue to facilitate the service through another means.
Age Concern fears it puts users at risk of isolation and malnourishment.
