
Community, Culture and Leisure Minister Graham Cregeen says he hopes talks can resume soon aimed at averting further strikes in the Island’s bus service.
Today is the second day of industrial action by drivers over plans to cut paid lunch breaks as the department tries to slash £300,000 from its budget.
Mr Cregeen says valuable lessons were learned yesterday as replacement services were hit by traffic accidents and poor weather.
But he says negotiations are currently on hold:
