Boards have branded bill 'scary' and 'inequitable'
The infrastructure minister insists the Island's local authorities were consulted on proposed new laws affecting local government.
A number of boards have voiced concern over the Local Government Bill, describing it as 'inequitable' and 'scary'.
One commission claimed the bill would give the Department of Infrastructure powers that could bankrupt some smaller authorities.
