The man charged with pushing through the changes to government deemed necessary says he's taking a long-term approach to the role.
Chris Robertshaw will become minister of policy and reform, heading up the new Cabinet Office, when the new departmental structure comes into effect on April 1.
Speaking live on Mandate on Manx Radio, Mr Robertshaw explained how the office would work:
