Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson has paid tribute to the emergency services for their work during recent storms and floods.
Mr Watterson says emergency planning proved its worth as police, fire service and civil defence workers battled to help those affected, alongside the Department of Infrastructure.
He says government workers went above and beyond the call of duty in atrocious conditions.
And he says there’ll now be a discussion about how well the Island planned for and coped with the extreme weather and tides.
