Cregeen makes statement in Tynwald
The Education Minister has told Tynwald proposed changes to catering operations at University College Isle of Man will not impact on students studying on the hospitality and catering course.
Graham Cregeen stated the department is looking to merge the refectory with hospitality and catering education and training.
Concerns have been raised about the issue by students already on the course and by the Prospect Union.
Minister Cregeen says the move is designed to save money but the learning experience will be boosted rather than undermined:-
