Manx Care must start on 'sound footing'
It is ‘most definitely’ the right time to overhaul the Isle of Man’s health and social care system.
That’s the view of the health minister who says Manx Care must be launched on a ‘sound footing’.
The new arms-length body is due to take over the delivery of services, from April 1, and will receive an additional £15 million to do that.
In its first year of operation it will be expected to deliver efficiencies of 1 per cent of its budget.
