Ashford says keeping virus suppressed is key
Preventing the hospital being overwhelmed and saving lives have been the main priorities for government during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The view of Health Minister David Ashford as he reflects on a year when the work of his department has been under intense scrutiny.
Mr Ashford points to the current situation in Jersey as an example of what he was desperate to avoid.
