
Education Minister Tim Crookall says he’ll meet students opposed to his plans for tuition fees before they’re discussed by Tynwald next month.
Mr Crookall says he’ll meet those who’ve been campaigning against the proposals at the end of this week or early next week after the discussion was postponed in January’s Tynwald sitting.
A large student demonstration took place outside the sitting involving those unhappy at plans to have them pay £2,500 towards the cost of their higher education fees through a government loan scheme.
Mr Crookall says he’s happy to talk, but the motion will still go before the court next month:
