Taxpayer backed plant records £96K loss
The Isle of Man's meat plant is unlikely to get to a position where it will make a profit but losses could be reduced.
That's the view of the environment, food and agriculture minister who says it's her 'aspiration' to do that.
The Isle of Man Meat Company's latest annual report shows a loss of more than £96,000 – despite receiving a £2 million taxpayer backed subvention.
