No advance discussions with Friends and Trustees
There was no consultation undertaken prior to the decision to relocate endoscopy services from Ramsey Cottage Hospital to Nobles, despite claims to the contrary.
So says Leonard Singer, chairman of Ramsey Cottage Hospital League of Friends.
He says neither the Friends, the Trustees, the staff or the endoscopy doctors at the hospital were spoken to prior to the decision being made.
Health Minister Kate Beecroft told the House of Keys recently she had a phone conversation with Mr Singer on May 10 about the matter.
Mr Singer says this statement is misleading.
