Chief minister says case isn't being explored due to ongoing criminal investigation
The chief minister says the government has not discussed serious claims made by an international news organisation.
American firm Bloomberg recently published an article titled: “How a Tiny British Island Fell Into an International Gambling Scandal” that was highly critical of the government's role.
In Tynwald this morning, Alfred Cannan said his ministers haven't talked about the article which named him and his alleged links to a recruitment firm reportedly linked to the company.
Asked why his government was not exploring the issues, Mr Cannan said this was because of an ongoing criminal investigation:
