Queen Elizabeth II presided over sitting twice during her reign
Two government ministers say they hope to see King Charles III preside over Tynwald Day during his reign.
Queen Elizabeth II oversaw the annual open-air sitting of the Manx parliament twice during her time as Lord of Mann.
The Princess Royal was the last member of the Royal Family to take part in the annual ceremony, doing so last year.
Education Minister Julie Edge and Infrastructure Minister Chris Thomas are optimistic the new monarch will pay a visit to Tynwald Hill during his time as king:
