Treasury Minister says everyone affected needs assistance
An extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers will take place today as government looks at what additional support can be provided to help Manx residents cope with the rising cost of living.
The third big gas price rise, in less than a year, is due to come into force next month - alongside continuing high inflation levels.
An initial support package was announced last week which targets those described as the most vulnerable in society.
But Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson says it's important everyone affected by the rising costs is supported:
The CoMin meeting will be followed by a gathering of all Tynwald members to consider the available options.
