MLC defends Dependability tests
Bill Henderson MLC says only a minority of people oppose work assessments being carried out on the long-term ill.
Last month, a political row broke out over the tests - which see those deemed fit moved from sickness benefits to Jobseeker's allowance.
South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft called for the entire process to be examined by a parliamentary committee.
Mr Henderson says he wouldn't have a problem with that:
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
