'Minute's noise' to be held in Laxey to remember dead riders

MGP club's event to follow Remembrance Sunday silence

Today (12 November) the Manx Grand Prix Supporters club will hold an event in Laxey to remember friends and loved ones.

Following the Remembrance Sunday silence, at 11am, motorcyclists are invited to take part in a 'minute's noise' at 12pm at Laxey Beach Café.

The club says it's to commemorate those who have, in their words, 'passed under the chequered flag in the past year'.

Motorcyclists are welcome to meet at the café from 9.30am onwards.

Organiser, and Mountain Course travelling marshal, Jim Hunter told Manx Radio it's another symbol of the camaraderie of the motorcycling community:
