67 fewer no-shows recorded in January in comparison to December
The number of missed GP appointments fell by just over five per cent in January compared to December last year.
New figures from Manx Care show 1,151 appointments were missed in the first month of 2023.
Ramsey’s practice saw the highest number - recording more than 20 per cent of the total no-shows.
Ballasalla Medical Centre had the fewest at just 42.
Manx Radio has asked for confirmation of whether the appointments missed were face-to-face or telephone consultations.
Anyone unable to attend an appointment is urged to cancel it so it can be offered to someone else.
