Will Government introduce means testing for TV licences
A member of Tynwald wants to know whether the Isle of Man Government plans to introduce means testing for free TV licences for the over-75s.
The BBC recently announced it will be charging those aged 75 and over unless they receive pension credit, something which doesn't exist on the Island.
David Cretney MLC will ask Chief Minister Howard Quayle how the government will respond when Tynwald sits tomorrow.
Mr Cretney insists the Island doesn't have to follow the UK's lead:

Man treated for non-life threatening injuries following Ramsey incident
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
