No local beer on offer at flagship venue
An MLC has pledged to do all he can to ensure the Villa Marina offers customers locally-brewed beverages.
David Cretney will be pitching questions at the venue's management after it emerged Manx ales aren't on offer to punters.
As a result, all government-funded outlets are to be reviewed for their sale of local food and drink.
Admitting it's embarrassing that the Isle of Man Beer and Cider Festival is hosted at the site, Mr Cretney says he'll look for answers.
The MLC, who has political responsibility at the Departments of Environment, Food and Agriculture for Tourism, says the situation needs putting right:
