Juan Turner is 'puzzled' by poor attendance accusations
An MLC who left the Department of Infrastructure has been defending his attendance record at meetings.
Juan Turner stepped down from his departmental role, saying he couldn't support various schemes the DoI was bringing forward, such as the disposal of silt from Peel harbour, and didn't like the way it had been treating the public.
Responding to Mr Turner's exit, Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne criticised his attendance record at meetings and claimed there was a lack of communication with departmental staff.
Mr Turner says he's puzzled by the accusations.
