Politician denies two charges
A politician believes a ‘personal dispute’ between him and the Island’s information commissioner has led to him being charged with data protection offences.
Juan Turner MLC this week appeared in court facing two counts of failing to register companies which process personal data.
He denies both.
Mr Turner of Glen Vine has vowed to clear his name and says a tribunal would have been better placed to address the issue rather than a court of law.
