Housing report due to be laid before Tynwald this month
The leader of the Manx Labour Party says a 'leap of faith' is needed to tackle the Island's housing crisis.
Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher says a shortage of properties is hindering aims to grow the Manx population, but without more people there isn't enough interest from investors.
A report into the Island's housing needs is due to be received in Tynwald this month, and the Council of Ministers will be asked to put forward a response by October.
Ms Faragher hopes progress can be made:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
