"This isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a sign that you are human"
The Manx National Farmers’ Union has expressed concern about the challenges facing the farming community as they move into 2025.
In a statement, the MNFU acknowledged that the New Year could be difficult for many and stressed the importance of prioritising mental health.
"Don’t be afraid to reach out for extra support if things get tough, as your mental health matters. It’s okay not to be okay.
"This isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a sign that you are human," the union said.
The MNFU is continuing to encourage farmers to seek support when needed and emphasises the importance of mental well-being within the sector.
