Minister asked for figures in the House of Keys this week
Visits to Manx National Heritage sites in 2022/23 are nearly double what they were during the previous year.
In the House of Keys this week, Enterprise Minister, Tim Johnston, stated 175,995 visits had been made to MNH locations this financial year as of Tuesday (28 February) compared to 88,181 in 2021/22.
According to figures, the Manx Museum was the most visited location in 2022, followed by Castle Rushen and then the House of Manannan in Peel.
Mr Johnston was asked if any more work is being done to find out the age demographic of those visiting Island heritage sites:
