Edmund Southworth due to retire this year
The outgoing director of Manx National Heritage has defended the legacy he'll be leaving behind.
It's after a deal was struck with Treasury to get the Laxey Wheel turning again by next year's tourist season.
Edmund Southworth says he's proud of what he's achieved with the organisation.
Concerns have been raised about the state of some heritage sites, which Mr Southworth has rebuffed.
