Concrete structure to replace existing site
Plans to create a state of the art skateboarding facility in Castletown have moved a step closer to becoming a reality.
Commissioners have voted unanimously in favour of helping to finance the project, which has been gathering momentum for over a year.
The "all inclusive" concrete structure will replace the older ramps and rails in Poulsom Park.
Jimmy Cubbon says the facility is important for promoting free, outdoor activities for young people in the South:
