Local authority held a private meeting to discuss changes to Derby Road car park
Peel Commissioners says it held a 'very productive' meeting with residents about future parking arrangements for people on Mona Street.
The local authority says a number of proposals were put forward about the future use of Derby Road Car Park.
It was held behind closed doors, media was not allowed to attend, and was exclusively for residents of Mona Street.
It adds the residents provided 'very constructive' feedback about the commissioners plans which would see the car park become no more than 18 hours in 24 hours.
The commissioners say it will arrange further meetings with residents on neighbouring streets.
It has also provided a survey to the Mona Street residents to establish their need to use the car parks.
