Upcoming 'masterplan' won't just include improvements
Money is not only needed to improve the Isle of Man Airport but also to maintain it.
That's according to the new airport director.
Gary Cobb says the call for more cash to implement a 'masterplan' is not due to bad management but a number of key structures that need to be kept up to date.
Last week Infrastructure Minister Chris Thomas announced that work is underway to draw up a plan to improve the airport's performance.
Funding from Treasury will be needed to implement it.
Following several incidents at Ronaldsway Manx Radio was granted exclusive access for a sit down with the airport director.
He said money hasn't been spent on vanity projects:
