It closes on 18 November
There's just over a week left for you to have you say about the application to develop an offshore windfarm in Isle of Man territorial waters.
The consultation opened in August when the Council of Ministers announced they had accepted the proposal from Moor Vannin Offshore Windfarm Limited.
Once it closes on Tuesday, 18 November, all the responses will be referred to a panel of independent experts, and some contributors may have the chance to attend hearings and meetings as the proposal is examined.
To find out more information about the application and register as an interested party to be kept up to date with its progress, you can visit mima.gov.im to:
There are several ways to respond to the consultation:
- The government website mima.gov.im is a central resource for information, guidance, examination progress, and for documents and papers associated with the Mooir Vannin application examination.
- Download a form from the website and return it by email it to MIMA.Applications@gov.im
- Collect a paper copy of the form from 3rd Floor Government Offices, Bucks Hill, Douglas and return it to the Case Manager at the same address.
You can also respond to the consultation directly at consult.gov.im
Paper copies of the application are available at Douglas and Ramsey Town libraries.
Please contact the Cabinet Office at MIMA.Applications@gov.im with questions about the consultation.
Any specific questions about the application itself should be sent to Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm Limited at mooirvannin@orsted.com.
