Wants to move Senior Race Day back to June
Creating a two-week celebration of Island life to replace this year’s TT could generate £5 million for the local economy.
That’s the claim of an Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK who is, once again, reiterating his plea to move the Senior Race Day bank holiday back to June.
It is now forming part of the Super Manx bank holiday in August instead.
Jason Moorhouse’s plea has already fallen on the deaf ears of the enterprise minister when he raised it in the House of Keys.
So he’s taking it to Tynwald later this month instead:
