Seal spotted with rope around neck
Prevention is better than cure for the animals badly affected by litter that's been dumped at sea.
That's the message from the Marine Officer at the Manx Wildlife Trust, speaking after a seal was spotted with rope around its neck at the Sound last week (Fri 26).
Whilst Lara Howe was full of praise for the efforts of Beach Buddies, she emphasised that more must be done to stop harmful waste being disposed of at sea in the first place.
