New provider sought for ARMD services
More patients could be treated for eye conditions on-Island from this autumn.
That's the ambition of the Department of Health and Social Care, which is calling on potential providers of the service to get in touch.
Clinics for age-related macular degeneration at Noble's Hospital are currently provided by a consultant from Aintree every fortnight.
But 15% of patients being treated for the condition travel to Liverpool for treatment on a regular basis.
