Movement 'will not go away'
The founder of a campaign against the cost of gas in the Island says more protests could be organised later in the year.
Barry Murphy founded an online group opposed to Manx Gas' pricing structure last year, which now has more than 1,500 members.
A series of public demonstrations by the group prompted government to launch an investigation into profits at the company.
Now a new petition is calling on that committee to deliver its findings more quickly.
Mr Murphy says action is needed now:

Doctors accept three-year pay offer
Seven acts promulgated in final Tynwald Day ceremony before election
Sharp rise in data breaches on Island, says Information Commissioner's Office
Footage circulating on social media 'now an active investigation'
Annual Tynwald Day celebrations to get underway
