Help for residents and businesses in area
There are set to be more parking spaces available at the northern end of Douglas promenade.
Work is being undertaken to create the extra spots on the walkway at Strathallan/King Edward Road and at Summerland in the next two weeks.
The move aims to help businesses and residents in the area while regeneration works continue.
There are also temporary three-way traffic lights in place on Queen's Promenade, Summerhill and Strathallan Crescent.
The lights will move southwards along the prom as work progresses.
The nearest bus stop for people travelling north will be Derby Castle, and Marathon Terrace for those going south.
